Frequently asked
Does Folio overwrite files?
No. If the destination already has an item with the same name, that item is skipped and you are told. Copying into the same folder creates “name copy”.
Can I undo a move or a delete?
Yes. Moves, copies and Move to Trash can be undone with ⌘Z or the Undo button in the notification. Folio never deletes permanently.
Why does macOS ask for access to Desktop or Documents?
macOS protects these folders. Allow access once so Folio can list them; you can change it in System Settings › Privacy & Security.
Does Folio send my data anywhere?
No. See the Privacy Policy.
